On 2 June 2017 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum the Government of Leningrad region and KNAUF PETROBOARD signed a cooperation agreement aimed at implementation of an investment project on renovation of the factory for production of linerboard until 2020 with support of the Government of Leningrad region. Last year the enterprise launched a large-scale investment programme. The following investment projects are being implemented: modernization of the cardboard production machine No.2, switch to flat nets; modernization of the stations for biological treatment of industrial effluents. I would like to express my gratitude to the Government of Leningrad region for their constant support in solving comprehenive issues which appear within implementation of large-scale investment projects.

The cardboard produced in the factory is used for the production of plasterboard and packaging for food products, cleaning supplies, shoes, perfume and cosmetics, medicines, toys, haberdashery and housekeeping goods.
