Leningrad shipyard, the leader at the Russian market of tugboat construction

Pella shipyard was established in 1950 in Otradnoe, Kirovsky district. This is a joint stock company which
includes affiliates and dependent companies and is the owner of a territory of 33 ha.
In 2016 in addition to already existing shipyard a new shipbuilding complex was constructed using
own funds and launched. This complex will allow building modern ships and vessels with the length
of up to 100 m and draught of up to 6 m (to meet requirements of the Neva River shipway). These vessels
are needed to upgrade technical and fishing fleet in Russia, to provide service to offshore fields and ports
in the Arctic Sea regions and to develop infrastructure facilities along the Northern Sea Route.

PRODUCTS

Traditionally specializing in shipbuilding,
Pella JSC is currently producing and plan-
ning to continue and increase production
of advanced and multifunctional vessels
of technical fleet which meet the require-
ments of the Russian Maritime Registry
of Shipping. The top priority is given
to the production of tugs, complex port
service vessels, pilot boats, hydrographic
vessels and other special-purpose and
fishing vessels and fishing vessels with
length up to 85 m.
