Repair and modernization of the freight rolling stock

Tikhvin Assembly Plant Titran-Express JSC traces its history to the beginning of 2000-ies. Since 2014
Assembly Plant Titran-Express performs all types of repair and retrofit activities for the freight rolling stock,
as well as manufactures the components intended for the freight cars. The company is a part of Research &
Production Corporation United Wagon Company, and is its principal service center that provides support
services for the new generation cars in course of its operation.

There is a business management system implemented at the company which complies with requirements
of International Railway Industry Standard IRIS.

PRODUCTION AND INNOVATIONS

Core field of operation of Tikhvin Assembly
Plant Titran-Express is all types of repair (cur-
rent, depot and overhaul) and retrofit activities
for the freight rolling stock, as well as manufac-
ture of components (the trucks and wheel sets)
for them.
Assembly Plant Titran-Express is rated Cat-
egory I service center; such category authorizes
the facility to perform the overhaul and depot
repairs for all nomenclature of the new genera-
tion freight cars built by TikhvinSpetMash, Tikh-
vinChemMash and Tikhvin Freight Car Building
Plant. It contributes to effective extension of the
servicing experience and technology along
1,520 mm railway track.
High level of the quality of the services ren-
dered by Tikhvin Assembly Plant Titran-Express
is confirmed by application of business manage-
ment system in compliance with international
standard ISO 9001:2008 and interstate standard
GOST ISO 9001-2011.
