INVESTMENTS
On 16 June 2015 during the
St. Petersburg International Economic
Forum PhosAgro put into operation
a modern terminal for transshipment
of more than 1.5 million tonnes
of fertilizers in the commercial seaport
Ust-Luga. About 80,000 tonnes
of fertilizers can be stored at the
same time. If necessary, the capacity
of both simultaneous storage and total
throughput can be promptly doubled.
The company is implementing
an investment project on increase
in output of liquid aluminium
sulphate which was approved in 2016
within the framework of import
substitution programme. This type
of coagulant is the most suitable for
water purification, it helps to remove
turbidity of water and improve
its quality. This investment project
is included in the plan of measures
of import substitution in civil industries
of Leningrad region.
