Largest plant for hot-dip galvanizing of steel structures in Northwestern region

The enterprise was established in 2015 in Tosnensky district of Leningrad region. This is the third hot-
dip galvanizing plant of AGRISOVGAZ, an economically autonomous subdivision of AGRISOVGAZ Saint
Petersburg.

The plant is equipped with the “capsule type” production line of an Italian company GIMECO. This
is a completely isolated technological process of hot-dip galvanizing. A unit for galvanization of large metal
structures up to 13 meter long allows galvanizing components with the size of 13.0 x 1.8 x 3.2 m.

The equipment is capable of galvanizing unique structures weighting up to 8 tonnes after the appropriate
technological analysis of an order.
Application of zinc coating using hot-dip galvanizing method is carried out in accordance with Russian
National Standard GOST 9.307-89, coating thickness can vary from 40 to 200 microns.

PRODUCTION FEATURES

EFFICIENCY. Coating which is formed as the
result of hot-dip galvanizing is a strong and, what
is more important, active barrier against corrosion
of metal structures.
RELIABILITY. A steel blank is fully immerged
in molten zinc during the hot-dip galvanizing
process, as a result the entire surface of the blank
is covered.
COST EFFECTIVENESS. Despite relatively high
cost of zinc, corrosion protection by means of hot-
dip galvanizing is the most cost effective method.
ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLINESS. Zinc
is completely safe for the environment.
