About the company
International Paper started operating in Russia in 1998. The
main directions of work of the company are production and
sale of office and offset paper, cardboard for packaging liquid
food products, thermomechanical cellulose.
The production processes are concentrated in the industrial
complex owned by the company in Svetogorsk, Leningrad
region. The company invested more than 750 million USD in
modernization and development of this complex. The industrial
complex is one of the largest and most modern pulp and paper
mills in Russia. International Paper is a co-owner of a joint
venture Ilim Group which is the largest partnership with foreign
participation in Russian forest industry. Since 2011 all forest
