A modern hotel with 126 rooms will be constructed in a remote district of Leningrad region.
The investor – Svir Project – has successfully passed the interdepartmental commission for the location of production. The hotel complex made of modular structures will be located on the road out of the town of Lodeynoe Pole, in close proximity to the Svir River.
The total area of the territory of the hotel will be about 40 ha. The estimated volume of investments in the project is 144 million rubles, 40 new jobs will be created at the facility.
The investor plans to construct and commission 50 rooms in 2021, the second phase will be completed in 2027 – on the whole, the hotel will consist of 126 rooms. A restaurant, an administrative complex and a reception will be also constructed. “The project will have a positive effect on the tourism potential of the district: there is a point of attraction – Alexander-Svirsky Monastery, but there are some difficulties with accommodation for tourists,” noted Deputy Chairman of the Government of Leningrad Region for economy Dmitry Yalov.
