Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity
Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity of Leningrad Region is an executive authority of Leningrad region, a structural element of the Administration of Leningrad Region regulating the sphere of economic policy. It is a part of a united system of executive authorities of the Russian Federation dealing with subjects of joint jurisdiction of the Russian Federation and Leningrad region.
Committee fulfills functions connected with implementation of the following activities:
development of infrastructural subjects in industrial parks and technoparks, formation and implementation of the policy for distribution of production forces in Leningrad region;
organization of provision of measures of government support for trading and investment activity, formation and implementation of tax policy;
formation and implementation of investment policy;
innovative activity, science and technology policy;
participation of Leningrad region in public-private partnership;
participation of Leningrad region in concession agreements;
development of industrial sector;
development of territorial clusters;
state and municipal services (functions);
comprehensive analysis and forecasting of socio-economic development;
development of economy in municipal units;
strategic planning of state programs and regulatory impact assessment.
