Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity

The Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity of Leningrad Region is an executive authority of Leningrad Region, a structural element of the Administration of Leningrad Region, exercising regulation in the sphere of economic policy,
and is part of the unified system of executive authority of the Russian Federation in matters under the joint jurisdiction of the Russian Federation
and Leningrad Region.

The Committee performs functions related to the implementation of the following activities:

• on the development of infrastructure facilities of industrial parks and technology parks, the formation and implementation of policy for the location of productive forces in the territory of Leningrad Region;
• on the organization of state support measures for trading and investment activity, the formation
  and implementation of tax policy;
• on the formation and implementation of investment policy;
• on innovation activity and scientific and technical policy;
• on staffing support for the economy;
• on the participation of Leningrad Region in public-private partnerships;
• on the participation of Leningrad Region in concession agreements;
• on outsourcing of certain types of activity by executive authorities of Leningrad Region;
• on the development of the manufacturing sector;
• on the development of territorial clusters;
• on state and municipal services (functions);
• on comprehensive analysis and forecasting of socio-economic development;
• on the development of the economy of municipalities;
• on strategic planning of state programs and regulatory impact assessment.
