Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin launched construction of port facilities in the Universal trade terminal LUGAPORT.
The opening ceremony took place during Transport week – 2020 exhibition which took place in Moscow.
During video conferencing with the port of Ust-Luga Mikhail Mishustin gave a command to the Director of Universal trade terminal in Ust-Luga Alexey Zharkov to start delivery of construction materials to the site of LUGAPORT.
President of Novotrans Group of Companies Konstantin Goncharov reported on implementation of the project to the Head of the Government.
The Holding started construction of the Universal trade terminal in Ust-Luga in August 2019. In June 2020 creation of artificial land plots for the terminal facilities with the total area of 47 ha was finished. The next stage is construction of facilities of the terminal.
The Prime Minister gave a positive assessment to development of LUGAPORT project and wished good luck to Novotrans Group of Companies in implementation of the project.
Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region provides support to implementation of the investment project.
