Representatives of biotech and medical companies from Leningrad region and the delegation of a Chinese province held a meeting in order to discuss cooperation.
Shandong province is the third largest regional economy of the PRC, the largest centre of pharmaceutical industry and the region where the largest exhibition in the world dedicated to fishery takes place.
During the meeting Advisor to Director of Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region Nikolay Vavilov presented investment potential of the region and promising directions of cooperation of Leningrad region and Shandong province. In particular, Chinese party is interested in possible localization of enterprises manufacturing antibiotics and fishing gears in Leningrad region.
