The head of the economic sector of the Government of Leningrad region Dmitry Yalov and business community of the region discussed support measures in current conditions.
Representatives of the largest business associations, large and medium-sized business operating in Leningrad region held a meeting in the form of videoconferencing: American Chamber of Commerce, Association of European Businesses, Russian-German Chamber of Commerce, Leningrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, regional divisions of Business Russia and Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
Dmitry Yalov noted that the range of issues should be divided into three parts – regional measures of support, creation of the list of suggestions for further transition to the federal level, support for employees.
Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity of Leningrad Region is collecting information about demand of business in antiseptics and face masks. The Committee also prepared the list of regional manufacturers and is searching for cooperation partners to ensure the release of required amount of these products.
Dmitry Yalov told that the economic sector is monitoring the situation closely, the Committee is collecting information and is ready to communicate with business. He called upon active cooperation for development of efficient response measures.
All suggestions of business announced at the meeting will be considered and directed to further work.
Business can transmit proposals to Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region through business associations.
