This week Mumbai will host a series of meetings between entrepreneurs from the region and potential partners in India, and companies from the Leningrad region will also take part in a construction exhibition in New Delhi.
The participants of the business mission include seven enterprises of the Leningrad region: the manufacturer of robotic equipment for the industry "Aitel Pro", the tire processor company "Lexor", the manufacturer of protective building materials "Glass Systems", the manufacturer of specialized lubricants for mechanisms "AlliancePro", the shipbuilding company "Hovercraft" , "Tosnensky feed mill" and timber processing company "Trust Les". The delegation of the region is headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Leningrad Region - Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activities Dmitry Yalov.
The business mission began today in the city of Mumbai - there will be a meeting with the Consul General of Russia, a representative of Sberbank in India. Presentations of the potential of the Leningrad Region and exporters are planned in one of the oldest chambers of commerce in India - the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry association and in the World Trade Center and the Association of Industrialists (AIAI), which includes more than 1,500 companies, including small and medium-sized businesses .
“It is not the first year that when organizing foreign business missions, we rely on the countries of Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The South Asian region is a new direction for our enterprises, but no less promising. In preparation for the business mission, we have planned dozens of meetings for our enterprises, we see the Indian side's interest in manufacturers of building materials, ships, and we will promote other industries for cooperation,” Dmitry Yalov commented.
On December 8, the Acetech New Delhi 2022 construction exhibition starts in New Delhi, where furniture solutions manufacturers Slotex-MK from the Vsevolozhsky district, an entrepreneur from the Volkhovsky district that produces various lamps and signs, and a lumber manufacturer Petrovles-Pasha from Lodeynopolsky will present their products district.
This is already the ninth foreign business mission organized by the Industrial Development Center of the Leningrad Region this year as part of the national project "International Cooperation and Export".
