EuroChem continues investing in the region. The largest investment and social projects of the company are being implemented at the scheduled time in Kingiseppsky district.
The process of implementation of the promising projects was discussed during a meeting of the Governor of Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of MCC EuroChem Igor Nechaev.
A children's technopark Kvantorium and an educational centre for the gifted children are planned to be opened in the town of Kingisepp this year. The technopark will provide training for 800 pupils per year. The cost of the project, which is being implemented with the assistance of Andrey Melnichenko Foundation, is 101 million rubles. The company plans to construct a complex for the production of ammonia and carbamide in the region. The total volume of investments in the project will amount to about 120 billion rubles. The new enterprise will be producing 1.4 million tonnes of carbamide and 1 million tonnes of ammonia annually. The launch of production at EuroChem-North-West-2 enterprise is planned to be carried out in 2023. The new enterprise will provide more than 250 new jobs. The implementation of the project receives the support of Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region.
