A large delegation of Moravian-Silesian Region held a meeting with the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity of Leningrad Region Anton Finogenov. Czech partners became familiar with investment potential of Leningrad region, opportunities of investors support and promising business niches and also told about the economy of their region.
Also Russian-Czech Business Forum was organized by Leningrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Consulate General of the Czech Republic.
The main part of the forum was dedicated to B2B meetings of Russian and Czech companies. Ten Czech companies held meetings with potential partners from Leningrad region. We hope that useful bilateral meetings of companies from such spheres as woodworking, mechanical engineering, healthcare, chemical industry, food production will contribute to conclusion of export contracts.
According to the results of the first three quarters of 2019, trade turnover between Leningrad region and the Czech Republic amounted to 56.8 million USD. Export value from the region to the Czech Republic amounted to 29.7 million USD.
