Projects in the sphere of housing and public utilities, tourism, interaction with the residents of the town of Gatchina were presented at the final of HackGatchina hackathon.
Within two days during the largest hackathon in the North-West more than 200 specialists from various spheres – programmers, designers, managers, creators – were developing solutions which improve life of the citizens.
“This is a good experience – solution to application tasks of Leningrad region by means of modern methods. Gatchina was selected as a platform for the approbation of these solutions not by chance, because it is one of the pilot regions included in the federal project “Smart City”. This is a very broad concept and it is important to work in all directions: to introduce modern technologies in the sphere of housing and public utilities, in interaction with the citizens, in transport and logistics,” said the Governor of Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko.
Finalists presented projects of a smart water meter, a calculator of overpayments for housing services, digital transformation of heat supply system in Gatchina, a platform for placement of ideas for improvement of the town, the system of interaction between the citizens and the authorities, an app for tourists.
These services can be used for solution of issues in various spheres and towns of Leningrad region.
