Luga Abrasive Plant continues increasing the volume of production.
The Governor of Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko visited one of the city-forming enterprises of the district centre during his business trip.
“It is important for us that an enterprise employing thousands of the citizens of Luga works stable and continues its development. The factory invests in the modern equipment, uses advanced technologies and due to this our products made in Luga are in high demand in the world – 25% of these products are exported,” said Alexander Drozdenko.
Luga Abrasive Plant manufactures abrasive tools that can be used in any sphere of mechanical engineering, construction and everyday life. The factory was established in 1906, today 988 people work here. The enterprise manufactures a wide range of abrasive tools for the processing of various materials and for different types of equipment, as well as graphite-containing and chamotte products used for melting and casting non-ferrous metals.
