These will be the first tires to carry the Ikon Tires brand. Tires under the new brand will appear in retail sales in the spring of 2024.
The company received a new name after the completion of the transaction for the sale of Russian assets of the Finnish concern Nokian Tires at the end of March 2023.
The processes involved in applying the new Ikon Tires brand to the tire sidewalls took several months. During the transition period, the company produced winter tires without the mother brand on the sidewall. This solution allowed the company to localize processes without stopping the operation of the plant in Vsevolozhsk for a single day.
All technological processes, equipment, and automated production systems have been preserved at the plant.
