The Government of Leningrad Region and Sberbank agreed on the partnership in the sphere of the introduction of digital technologies.
A cooperation agreement was signed by the Governor of Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko and the President, Chairman of the Board of Sberbank German Gref.
“One of the key tasks of the region is the improvement of the quality of life of its residents, of the comfort and safety of the urban environment. Today this aim can be achieved only through the introduction of modern digital services in almost all spheres. I am convinced that new digital services will positively affect the work of the municipal services, will increase the productivity of the utility complex and provide further development of our towns,” commented Alexander Drozdenko.
The priority cooperation directions include application of the “Smart bus stop” service, cashless payments in the public transport and several other reliable digital services for the citizens of Leningrad region in such spheres as healthcare, municipal services, improvement of public safety, implementation of educational programs.
The Governor of Leningrad region and the head of Sberbank also agreed on the provision of support for small and medium-sized business. It will include both financial and credit support, development of government programs for business support in Leningrad region and organization of consultations and seminars for business.
