This information was provided in a joint review of Expert RA rating agency and Roscongress Foundation.
According to the experts, economic health of Russian regions improved in 2019 due to combination of several factors: inflation slowdown, reduction of interest rates on loans, moderate growth of salaries, and activity of construction sector.
According to the results of 2019, the leaders of the ranking include regions which have plenty of raw materials, developed manufacturing sector and institutional rent (income connected with benefits of a capital city).
