Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region provides support to 335 investment projects with the total volume of investments amounting to 3.2 trillion rubles.
According to the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies, Russian agencies provide support to 6,100 projects for the total sum of 9.4 trillion rubles. Thus, the total volume of investments under the projects which receive support of Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region is one third of the all-Russian portfolio of economic development agencies.
The information was announced during a session of the members of the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies. Director of Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region Anastasia Mikhalchenko suggested consolidating efforts and exchanging experience in attraction of investors, told about BRIEF’20 forum and invited all participants to join the forum the next year.
335 projects which receive support include 50 foreign projects. More than 270 are industrial projects, more than 30 are connected with development of logistics and port infrastructure. The largest project is construction of a complex for processing of ethane-containing gas in Kingiseppsky district.
