Seven potential contracts, 60 meetings, acquaintance with industrial technoparks and a trade mission - these are the first results of the business mission of Leningrad region enterprises to Uzbekistan.
“I am sure that our regional producers, with quality support from the Export Support Center, have great chances to find new markets in Central and Central Asia, the Middle East. Foreign partners are showing great interest in products from the Leningrad region, we were once again convinced of this during the past business mission to Uzbekistan,” commented Dmitry Yalov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Leningrad Region for Economics and Investments.
Until the end of the year, the Export Support Center of the Leningrad Region will conduct several more international business missions - to Turkey, Kazakhstan, Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Joint business trips with the Russian Export Center to Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, India and Egypt are also planned.
