Leningrad region strengthens cooperation with Syria

The Governor of the region Alexander Drozdenko held a working meeting with the Honorary Consul of the Syrian Arab Republic in St. Petersburg Ghazi Mlaz.

“I hope that today's meeting will be a new step for the development of Russian-Syrian relations at the regional level. We have proposals for cooperation in the economy, social and humanitarian spheres, in the development of trade relations. We are ready to participate in investment projects on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic through the Leningrad business. In addition, we are planning, with your help, to organize closer communication between the youth of our states. We host such forums as "Ladoga" and "Alexander Nevsky", where we invite representatives of youth organizations.
