The investment declaration has been approved in the region, the investor's navigator has been updated, and the training of the regional business team continues.
The approval of the investment declaration is one of the key elements of the regional investment standard, which is being implemented by the Leningrad Region among the pilot subjects of the Russian Federation. The document includes the key characteristics of the region's economy, priority areas for development, as well as the principles of interaction between the regional authorities and investors.
The Investor's Navigator, developed by the Economic Development Agency of the Leningrad Region, reflects the main provisions of the investment declaration. For business, the steps for implementing an investment project in the Leningrad Region are explained in an accessible way, including using the “green corridor” mechanism, current data on the region’s economy and priority industries are presented, sites for the implementation of investment projects, industrial parks, information on major investment projects, contacts of business support institutions.
To implement the investment standard and work in the new economic conditions, a restart of work with the business is also required. To do this, 25 specialists - employees of regional and municipal authorities, the Agency for Economic Development and the Center for Industrial Development of the Leningrad Region - are trained under the program of the Higher School of Public Administration of the RANEPA and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
Recall that the Regional Investment Standard was developed by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and is designed to simplify business scaling by creating a single client path, regardless of the region. The work on its formation is supervised by the First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov.
