A new enterprise for production of marine engines and control systems was opened in Tosnensky district of Leningrad region.
Marine Propulsion Systems Ltd is located in Fyodorovskoe industrial zone.
“In current conditions opening of a new production plant is not only a happy event, it is also a confirmation of the fact that despite all difficulties faced by the economy, products manufactured by many factories is still in demand. The enterprise not only manufactures engines for all types of vessels, but also deals with development and repair of engines,” noted the Governor of Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko.
The new factory produces marine engines and diesel generators, control systems and marine compressor units for vessels of the Russian Navy.
The volume of investments in the new enterprises amounted to about 1 billion rubles. The company plans to expand its production.
