The head of the economic sector of the Government of Leningrad region Dmitry Yalov held a meeting with a Korean delegation headed by the Consul General of the Republic of Korea Son Ilsuk.
The most famous Korean investor in the Northwestern district is Hyundai car factory in Saint Petersburg. Several Korean companies operate in Leningrad region. But there can be more – advantages and investment potential of the region, discussed during the meeting, are attractive for Korean companies.
The participants also discussed prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation and possible placement of new Korean production plants in Leningrad region.
Korean partners also expressed their interest in participation in business forum of Leningrad region Baltic G2B Forum which takes place on 16-17 September 2020. It is dedicated to interaction between business and authorities of the region concerning localization and measures of support for business, foreign economic activity of the regional companies and business cooperation.
