Irina Romanova has assumed the post of Deputy Director at Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region. She will be supervising investment project support.
Today Irina Romanova held a meeting with Mogilev Region Development Agency. Leningrad region is a strategic partner for Belarus and in the near two years it intends to enter the top 5 Russian regions which are the largest trading partners for Belarus. So the development agencies have many topics for discussion.
In particular, the participants were talking about investment and export potential of the regions in the spheres where cooperation can be strengthened, such as wood processing and chemical industry. They also exchanged experience of work with investors – from the development of special economic zones using the example of SEZ Mogilev to the promotion of regional investment websites.
As the result, the meeting was very intense and it was decided to develop many discussed issues further.
