Nanopark Gatchina opens its doors for the residents – small and medium-sized innovative companies.
The Governor Alexander Drozdenko visited the future innovation centre of Leningrad region.
There are two buildings for an anchor investor North-West Technology Transfer Centre and the sites for the next residents located at the territory of 19.4 ha.
The concept of the project includes localization of enterprises working in the following spheres:
- nanotechnologies, nanomaterials and nanoelectronics
- medical, pharmaceutical and bio technologies
- radiation technologies
- instrumentation and mechanical engineering
Deputy Chairman of the Government of Leningrad Region on Economy Dmitry Yalov noted that the region is negotiating with oil and gas companies concerning the possibility to localize small and medium-sized suppliers of innovation technological solutions for oil and gas industry.
Besides, there is a potential resident ready to launch production of LED lamps and a lighting systems development centre at the site.
