Anastasia Mikhalchenko has been appointed as Director of Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region. Previously she held the position of Deputy Director of the Agency and was in charge of place marketing direction.
Anastasia has extensive experience in promotion of large projects. She was a head of marketing and sales direction at large-scale Russian resorts – Rosa Khutor and Igora, dealt with development of sports and hotel complex AquaLife in Bulgaria. In Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region Anastasia Mikhalchenko promoted investment potential, opportunities and projects of Leningrad region in Russia and abroad, was in charge with cooperation with business associations and international organizations.
Over two years Anastasia has significantly improved business activity aimed at attraction of investments in the region – the number of events of the Agency has doubled. She managed projects on participation of the delegation of the Government of Leningrad region in the largest economic forums – Russian Investment Forum and St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Anastasia Mikhalchenko received gratitude of the Governor of Leningrad region.
Anastasia graduated with honours from the Faculty of Asian and African Studies of Saint Petersburg State University. She also completed Presidential Management Training Programme “Management of innovative development and entrepreneurship” of Economic Faculty, Saint Petersburg State University and professional retraining in marketing management, Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance.
At the new position Anastasia Mikhalchenko will be responsible for the work of “one-stop-shop” of Leningrad region for investment projects support, attraction of investments and promotion of investment potential of the region.
