The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin noted positive pace of economic development of Leningrad region.
During the first transshipment of liquefied natural gas at Cryogas-Vysotsk factory the head of the country by means of a videoconference addressed to the participants of the solemn ceremony – the Governor of Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko, the head of Novatek Leonid Mikhelson, Chairman of the Board of Gazprombank Andrey Akimov.
“I am very pleased to note that Leningrad region is developing and on the whole achieves good results in its development. Of course there are still many problems, but if the regional authorities contribute to implementation of such projects not only in power industry, but also in other spheres, we will undoubtedly move towards implementation of the national projects which I often mention and which were developed by the Government. We need to deal with really big tasks. But, of course, development of industry, development of its branches especially such important as power industry, plays the key role in achieving those results which we set for ourselves,” commented Vladimir Putin.
