Managing Director of the NRCC Jarle Forbord shared up to date information about bilateral trade and told about the plans of the Chamber for 2021.
The prospects of bilateral cooperation are very broad. Such spheres as aqua culture, shipbuilding, food industry are still of current interest, and large-scale development of port projects in Leningrad region opens new opportunities, for Norwegian companies as well.
Anastasia Mikhalchenko in her report about investment potential of Leningrad region noted that in order to develop cooperation the region organizes procurement sessions with large customers, which can be interesting for Norwegian companies with their huge expertise in gas and chemical industry. A procurement session for suppliers of materials and equipment for construction of the Complex for processing ethane-containing gas already took place. The participants of the session included the operator of the project RusKhimAlyans, EPC contractor NIPIGAS and 140 enterprises of Leningrad region and Saint Petersburg.
