Round table “Chinese investments and Chinese market: opportunities and risks” was organized by Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region and China Business Centre.
Representatives of 15 companies from Leningrad region and Saint Petersburg participated in the event. The entrepreneurs were interested in practical issues and cases concerning entry to the Chinese market, special characteristics of Chinese consumers, popular Chines services such as WeChat, particular characteristics of payment systems.
Advisor of Director of the Agency Nikolay Vavilov told about specific features of work with Chinese investment market. The head of the project office of Industry Development Centre of Leningrad Region Igor Gunich told about support of exporters in the region.
Director of Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region Andrey Sergeev told about prospects of cooperation between the region and China, investment potential of Leningrad region. He suggested specifying topic and reports for the next meeting according to the requests of business. “You have a unique opportunity to ask your questions in advance in order to receive an expert opinion and answers within the frameworks of our meeting,” suggested Andrey Sergeev.
