The region strengthened export support

For exporters of the Leningrad Region from among small and medium-sized businesses, opportunities for obtaining export subsidies, issuing microloans are expanding, as well as new services for transporting goods abroad.

The conditions for receiving a regional export subsidy for cost compensation have been changed this year. So, in addition to the traditional costs of transport services, declaration, export contract support, entrepreneurs can reimburse 90% of the funds allocated in the previous two years for product packaging and postage. The maximum amount of the subsidy has been increased to 4 million rubles, and manufacturers of peat processing products have been added to the number of recipients. Acceptance of applications for a subsidy under the new conditions will be announced in the near future; annually, the region allocates about 30 million rubles for these purposes.

In the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Leningrad Region, companies engaged in foreign economic activity can now receive a loan under two programs - "Export" and "Priority". The amount of a microloan on them is up to 5 million rubles at a rate of 7%. The funds received can be used for working and investment purposes. For a loan under the "Export" program, the enterprise must operate for at least 1 year, for the "Priority" program - at least 6 months.

In addition, since June of this year, the Export Support Center of the Leningrad Region will begin to provide two new types of services. With the help of the center, small and medium-sized enterprises will be able to organize the transportation of their products to foreign markets, as well as the storage of products abroad for up to 6 months on an area of up to 100 sq.m. The costs of entrepreneurs are covered by the Export Support Center.

Recall that the task of supporting exporters was set by the May decree of the President of the Russian Federation, reflected in the national project "International Cooperation and Export" and is being implemented in the Leningrad Region as part of the regional project "Systemic Measures to Promote International Cooperation and Export".
