LENTA opened its new retail distribution centre in M10 Industrial Park in Leningrad region. The distribution centre with the total area of 70,000 sq. m includes multi-temperature warehouse areas, sorting and processing areas, loading and unloading areas for 200 trucks, own production of semi-finished products and culinary products and other infrastructure.
A factory for production of semi-finished products and culinary products, six departments with various temperature conditions are created in the warehouse and production complexes. The centre is able to accept products of 1,500 manufacturers, about a million of pallets.
The volume of investments in the projects amounted to 4 billion rubles. Currently 640 new jobs are created in the centre, later it will be doubled.
All necessary office and household infrastructure was created for efficient work of the employees.
The distribution centre will allow servicing more than 100 shopping malls in more than 20 cities in Northwestern federal district.
