Young specialists from Leningrad region are demanded at the regional labour market and demonstrate top results at professional competitions.
In the final of the 7th WorldSkills National Championship (WorldSkills Russia) the team of the region won gold, silver and bronze medals. The winners and prize-winners of the contest will participate in the European championship.
The gold medal won by a citizen of the settlement of Krasava in Tikhvinsky district of Leningrad region Yuri Salamatov, according to his words, is a good opportunity to receive good job in future. Silver and bronze medalists – students of Kirovsky Polytechnic College Alexander Kotyashev and Roman Miroshkin agreed with him.
The team of Leningrad region also received three medallions for professionalism.
WorldSkills is an international noncommercial movement aimed at increase of prestige of working professions and development of professional education by means of creation of professional standards through competitions among students of secondary educational institutions.
