Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity

The Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity of the Leningrad Region is an executive authority of the Leningrad Region, a structural element of the Administration of the Leningrad Region, regulating economic policy,
and is part of the unified system of executive power of the Russian Federation in matters of joint jurisdiction of the Russian Federation
and the Leningrad Region.

The Committee performs functions related to the following activities:

  • issues of infrastructure development for industrial parks and technology parks, formation and implementation of policies for the location of productive forces in the Leningrad Region;
  • issues of organizing the provision of state support for trading and investment activities, formation
    and implementation of tax policy;
  • issues of formation and implementation of investment policy;
  • issues of innovation activities, scientific and technical policy;
  • issues of economic staffing;
  • issues of the Leningrad Region's participation in public-private partnerships;
  • issues of the Leningrad Region's participation in concession agreements;
  • issues of outsourcing certain types of activities by executive authorities of the Leningrad Region;
  • issues of development of the production sector;
  • issues of development of territorial clusters;
  • issues of state and municipal services (functions);
  • issues of comprehensive analysis and forecasting of socio-economic development;
  • issues of economic development of municipalities;
  • issues of strategic planning of state programs and regulatory impact assessment.
