Slantsev Cement Plant Cesla OJSC was established in 1960 and today it is one of the largest industrial enterprises of construction industry in Slantsevsky district. Since 2001 the company is owned by German holding company Heidelberg Cement Group. Technical, economic and environmental audit were conducted at the enterprise. The results of this work became the basis for development of comprehensive programme aimed at increase of production efficiency which is actively used today. Slantsev Cement Plant Cesla OJSC specializes in production of cement brands which are in high demand at consumer market (M500 DO, M400 DO, M400D20, etc.).
Peterburgcement LLC (former LRS.Cement – North-West LLC) is a hi-tech new generation cement enterprise which was launched in November 2010. Production capacity of the plant is 1.86 million tonnes of cement per year. The plant is equipped with the most modern production lines of a Danish company FLSmidth – a world leader in manufacture of equipment for cement production. The plant uses the most efficient dry production technology which involves partial use of slate waste while manufacturing cement and this provided more than 40% of required power consumption of production lines. Due to this the cement plant is one of the most energy-efficient on the world.
Slantsy LLC was established at the industrial site of a city-forming enterprise Slantsy Factory OJSC (which is at the liquidation phase). The new enterprise Slantsy LLC prepared a plan for development and modernization of production capacities. In December 2014 the factory received a license on slate field development.
Integrated Programme for Development of Monotown was prepared for integrated development of the town. An application for creation of a territory of advanced social and economic development in the municipal unit Town of Slantsy is at the formation stage: currently the pool of investors is being formed.
