Leningrad region won the award “Best regional practices” in the nomination “Family”.
The best practice is “Compensation to families not sending children to kindergartens” according to which families receive money if their children did not get a place in a kindergarten. In 2019 this project was implemented in Vsevolozhsky district, in 2020 it will be launched in the whole territory of the region.
The award was presented to Deputy Chairman of the Government of Leningrad Region Dmitry Yalov by the Minister of Labour and Social Protection Maxim Topilin.
The first award “Best regional practices” is aimed at selection of the best regional managerial solutions for improvement of the quality of life. The awards were presented in Moscow with support of Expert Institute of Social Research.
