Days of the Association of Industrial Parks are taking place in Leningrad region and Saint Petersburg. Within these days entrepreneurs, developers visited and explored industrial parks of the region.
For example, the delegation visited M10 Industrial Park in Tosnensky district, got acquainted with the conditions of localization and opportunities of the park. The residents of the park – a manufacturer of corrugated board TD TransPak and a manufacturer of plastic packaging Edelweis – shared their experience in the construction of factories and the launch of production.
The next point of the tour was Greenstate Industrial Park in Lomonosovsky district, where the participants visited Hakel factory for the production of electrical equipment.
The residents of the parks noted that they have implemented their projects in a short time. The enterprises received comprehensive support from the region. In particular, Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region provided assistance in the selection of the industrial sites, of the measures of support and tax benefits, resolved issues concerning the coordination of visits of foreign specialists for the commissioning works during the period of restrictions. The Agency also provides support to the industrial parks, helping the management companies to receive government support and tax benefits.
The delegation also visited a government industrial park Northwest Nanotechnology Centre in Gatchina. Industrial and commercial premises for small and medium-sized hi-tech and innovative companies are created in the territory of 19.4 ha. The concept of the project involves the placement of enterprises operating in such spheres as nanotechnology, nanomaterials and nanoelectronics, medical, pharmaceutical and biotechnologies, radiation technologies, instrumentation and mechanical engineering.
Leningrad region occupied 6th place in the first rating of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in terms of the number of industrial parks and industrial technoparks. 11 industrial parks of Leningrad region were taken into consideration in the rating.
