A delegation of businessmen from the People's Republic of China held talks with manufacturers and suppliers of fertilizers from the Leningrad Region.
At the site of the Industrial Development Center of the Leningrad Region, regional companies presented their capabilities and spoke about the experience of cooperation with China.
The meeting was organized by the Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activities of the Leningrad Region with the assistance of the Economic Development Agency.
China is the largest partner in trade relations of the Leningrad Region and since 2018 has been ranked first in terms of trade.
Companies in the Leningrad region can supply peat, fertilizers, biological products for animal husbandry and agriculture.
According to a representative of the Chinese delegation, China is interested in the products of companies from the Leningrad region, especially peat is in demand as an organic way to enrich the soil.
