A South Korean company DRB World is interested in construction of a plant for production of components for Hyundai concern in Leningrad region.
Implementation of this project was discussed in the Front Office for Investor Relations of the Administration of Leningrad Region. The participants of the meeting included Deputy Chairman of the Government of Leningrad Region – Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity Dmitry Yalov, representatives of Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region, Director General of DRB Rus Kim Ensan and Member of the Board of Directors of DRB Rus Kim Soneb.
DRB World is planning to acquire an industrial facility in Vsevolozhsky district for production of automotive components and spare parts for Hyundai. During the meeting the representatives of DRB Rus managed to gather support of the Government of Leningrad region for further development of the project.
DRB was established in 1945 and has become a leader among manufacturers of rubber products for many industries. DRB is a supplier for such car manufacturers as GM Daewoo, KIA, Hyundai, Volkswagen. Enterprises of the company are located in Korea, Slovakia, Vietnam, China.
