One of the key and most complicated stages of creation of artificial land plots in LUGAPORT terminal is completed.
This is a sure step to completion of the first phase of construction of the terminal. Works were carried out regardless weather conditions and according to the schedule.
Today the volume of investments in the project by Novotrans exceeded 6 billion rubles.
The multipurpose terminal LUGAPORT (an investment project of Novotrans Group of Companies) is created for transshipment of general, bulk, grain cargo and food products. It will be able to accept up to 1,100 freight cars per day from Luzhskaya Generalnaya connecting station, accept and handle Panamax, New-Panamax, Baby-Capesize vessels with draft of up to 15.5 m. LUGAPORT project is included in the strategic documents for development of transport infrastructure in Russia. The total volume of investments in the project is 46.5 billion rubles, including 38 billion of own investments by Novotrans Holding. The total volume of transshipment at the terminal will come to 24.3 million tonnes per year.
