One of the main indicators of efficiency of development of regional economy is the share of investments in the gross regional product. In Leningrad region this indicator comes to record 44% which is comparable with China.
And work on creation of favourable conditions for development of business in the region continues:
- a wide infrastructure of business support and investment projects support was established in the region, including the Front Office for Investor Relations
- an information base of land plots and infrastructural facilities – an interactive map with information about investment sites is available
- the system of tax benefits and preferences for investors including those in the territory of advanced social and economic development Pikalevo is operating
- public administration processes are being improved in order to reduce terms of issuance of documentation
- open dialogue with business
