Pella Shipyard launched a fishing freezer trawler Scorpio.
The event took place with participation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev within the frameworks of III International Global Fishery Forum.
The trawler built in Leningrad region was created for ground fish fishing and processing on board. The fish factory is equipped with all required equipment for sorting, gutting and filleting. Maximum freezing capacity is 70 tonnes per day.
Scorpio trawler is the first of two vessels being built at Pella Shipyard by request of a Murmansk group of companies FEST. Vessel laying took place in December 2017. It is planned to be transferred to the customer in the third quarter of 2020.
