According to the results of 2020, the industrial production index of Leningrad region amounted to 98.6%, while manufacturing industries reached the level of 100.2% in comparison with the same period of the last year. These are the current data of Petrostat (Federal Statistics Service in Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Region).
Printing activities and data storage devices became the leaders among manufacturing industries in terms of increase of production – 148.3%.
The following spheres also demonstrated a significant production growth: production of textile goods – 144%, production of beverages – 138%, production of computers, electronic and optical products – 128.3%.
The positive dynamics was also shown by extraction of minerals – 102.5%, water supply, wastewater disposal, waste collection and recycling, pollution control activities – 101.9%.
The largest decrease in the index is noted in the production of furniture, vehicles, leather and leather goods.
