The participants of a meeting between Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region, Investment Management of Saint Petersburg and specialized committees discussed in details joint work.
The meeting became a continuation of the previously reached agreements. In September, during the Baltic Region Investment Forum the heads of the agencies signed a cooperation agreement.
The main beneficiary of this cooperation is business interested in localization in the region. The agencies work on synchronization of suggestions in order to establish a “one-stop-shop” for investors. For example, they will be selecting investment sites according to the requests of potential investors in case suitable sites are not available in a chosen region. It is planned to organize joint investment events, including conferences, seminars, exhibitions, fairs and other events in order to promote investment opportunities and projects of Leningrad region and Saint Petersburg.
