Leningrad region at SPIEF-2019

Leningrad region will be presented at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum which will take place from 6 to 8 June.

The delegation of the region headed by the Governor Alexander Drozdenko will have an extensive programme which includes signing agreements with large investors, universities and Russian regions, meetings and negotiations and participation in various discussions dedicated to current economic issues.

This year the main theme of the regional exhibition stand is “Cooperation of business and authorities in development of human capital – contribution to the future of Leningrad region”. So the main focus will be on current educational programmes in the sphere of vocational guidance and development of professional competencies for the residents of Leningrad region of all ages which are implemented by both regional Government and enterprises. Also several agreements will be concluded with the leading educational institutions of Russia in order to strengthen joint work concerning personnel training so that new production plants could be provided with qualified work force. 

The ceremony of commissioning a new ammonia production plant of EuroChem in Kingisepp will take place during SPIEF-2019. The estimated volume of investments in the project is 1.2 billion USD.

This year was announced the Year of Healthy Lifestyle in Leningrad region and this theme will be presented during the largest economic forum. A Healthy Lifestyle Game specially prepared for the stand will allow evaluating personal healthy lifestyle index. In the Healthy Lifestyle Bar the visitors of the stand will be able to drink coffee, tea, dairy products and bakery products produced by the largest food enterprises of the region: JACOBS, Orimi Trade, Galactika Group of Companies, Lyubimy Krai, Kirishsky Bread-Baking Complex.
