What is the most ambitious project in the sphere of digitalization in the region? According to the Governor of Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko, this is “Smart Cities” project. In case of successful implementation it will be replicated in other towns of the region.
This was discussed during the conference “Characteristics of regional digitalization – 2019”.
The annual dialogue between the authorities and IT business was dedicated to search for optimal solutions while implementing the national project “Digital economy”.
In Leningrad region:
- The situation centre of the Governor of Leningrad region which unites informational and analytical systems of the regional Government and data of the federal institutions was established.
- The regional data management system “Smart Platform” will unite, systematize and unify information from 60 informational systems of the region in order to increase transparency and efficiency of administrative procedures.
- A digital platform is being established in investment and construction sphere – a range of services for business will be provided in electronic form: issuance of construction permits and commissioning of subjects, issuance of conclusions on compliance of capital construction objects with the requirements of design documentation.
