The results of the rating for 2021 were presented today by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia as part of the INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition in Yekaterinburg.
“The high appraisal of the relevant ministry indicates that we are making effective decisions to support industry and exports. A database of industrial parks has been created in the Leningrad Region, where exporting industrial enterprises are located. All possible types of tax support work in the region, including our largest exporters receive specific subsidies for trading activities. From the very beginning, in our work on the development of exports of our small and medium-sized enterprises, we focused on friendly countries in Central Asia, the Caucasus, the Middle East and Africa. Today, our building materials, chemistry and food products are in demand there, and we continue business missions and exhibitions focused on these sectors and countries,” commented Alexander Drozdenko, Governor of the Leningrad Region.
At the end of 2021, the industrial production index of the Leningrad Region amounted to 107.6%. The volume of shipped goods for all main types of industrial activity is 1,699 billion rubles.
