Leningrad region occupied the second place in the ranking of the Russian regions in terms of the measures of support for entrepreneurs.
Commissioner for the Russian President for Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights Boris Titov presented the results of his research of regional measures of business support in the current conditions.
Top 3 leaders also include Ulyanovsk region and the Republic of Karelia. The ranking was prepared taking into consideration such measures as provision of direct subsidies to business, reduction of restrictive measures, tax exemptions, exemption from paying rent for government real estate, provision of soft loans and subsidizing of interest rates.
