Gazprom Neft put into operation a new fuel terminal Gladkoe in Tosnensky district of Leningrad region. The facility became the first asset of the company build within the frameworks of implementation of comprehensive development strategy of terminal infrastructure of Gazprom Neft.
Gladkoe is the only fuel terminal in Russia equipped with metering units which provide automated control of the volume and parameters of petroleum products while receiving them from railway tanks and unloading to motor transport. All information about transfer of fuel is processed and transmitted to the system Oil Control – Gazprom Neft online. A digital twin of the fuel terminal contains all information about the project from the beginning of construction which provides virtual access to management of the subject.
Infrastructure of the terminal allows handling up to 1 million tonnes of petroleum products annually, a reservoir park is able to contain 40,000 cubic meters of products simultaneously. Advanced environment protection technologies are introduced at Gladkoe. Availability of own laboratory allows carrying out comprehensive control of the quality of petroleum products.
“New fuel terminal will become an important subject of logistics system of Gazprom Neft and will provide stable supplies of quality petroleum products to the gas stations of the company and to our clients in Northwestern region. Innovative technologies used in construction of Gladkoe will be replicated during modernization of our terminal chain which we are planning to develop up to 2025,” noted Chairman of the Board of Gazprom Neft Alexander Dyukov.
